To celebrate the 73rd Republic Day of our awe inspiring country in a meaningful way, SocioDent organized its second webinar on an interesting topic ~ ‘Changemakers in Dentistry’. While many of us in the dental fraternity continue to wait for a change, a few others took things into their hands and became the change they wanted to see. In this video, you will listen to the inspiring stories of three young and aspiring changemakers who have taken giant leaps to break the existing barriers in Indian healthcare.

Speaker 2 – Dr. Bijivin Raj- He is a Senior lecturer in Department of Public Health Dentistry, Sree Mookambika Institute of Dental Sciences. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Public Health dentistry at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, Pondicherry. Interestingly, he is also the director of BStatz Health Research Consultancy and an integral part of the dental leadership team at Soulfree (NGO for Spinal injury patients) and the core team at Vaergal (another NGO).
Speaker 3 – Dr Pallabi Roy (BDS, MBA) is a Dental Surgeon and the Co-Founder of DigiSwasthya Foundation which is a non-profit organization working on providing accessible and affordable healthcare in rural India through phygital telemedicine centers.
